The seven days of India's biggest couture show has seen some of the best designers and their intricate details. The designers presented the collection for men and women both, however, the women's styles had dominated the event. At F-trend we bring the best of commercially viable men's key fashion trend from the coveted couturiers Tarun Tahilani, Varun Bahl, Anju Modi, Rohit Bal, and Shyamal-Bhumika showcased men's itricate .

White dominated as the key color over the runway for the men's jacket and Sherwani collection. For Men's safa, Dupattas and shawls designers were very playful. We spotted blue, green, and white as the favorite colors of the designers. Tarun Tahilani's men were mostly in white spotted in predominantly Indian Jackets and Shervanis and little bit use of gold glitters. Shyamal and Bhumika bring the very simple men's silhouettes all in black color.

Varun Bahl introduced Duppattas for men which with flowers scattered all over in onion pinks and Cambridge blues as well as fully embroidered waistcoats punctuated with  little flowers and worn with Peshawaris.

Tarun Tahilani

His menswear too was all black, with just whispers of Parsi embroidery on the high collars of sherwanis, as white cotton kurtas along with Nehru caps, patent leather Oxfords and peeping pocket squares kept it austere but impactful. Was the line revolutionary, ‘no’, but was it within the designer’s comfort zone, ‘yes’, as he did what he knows best—- make you shine like the North star and that should be enough for most!

Varun Bahl

Though it was the menswear which remained the highlight, as a designer, he has tried to create new fabrics like his woven crepe for his 2014 ICW line or the subtleness of Damask, a fabric that he often uses due to his malleable reversible nature.

This year he introduced floral duppattas for men which came with scattered all over in onion pinks and Cambridge blues as along with the fully embroidered waistcoats punctuated with sweet, little flowers blossoming and worn with heady Peshawaris.

Anju Modi

Menswear had safas with glittering brooches, as well as salmon pink bundis and gold and white layered lehengas with gold foil work, and gotta borders, which have been Anju’s signature, complete with fluttering butterfly rings
