On the opening day of Lakme fashion week summer/resort 16, we shall have the chance to witness how technology can change fashion. ElektroCouture and Friends are all set to introduce India to the world of Hi-tech fashion with one show putting variation, customization, innovation & spotlight on the biggest global trend - wearable tech onto the ramp. The show is sure to be a visual treat! ElektroCouture, a Berlin-based technology house which pioneers bespoke electronic wearable technology, is all set to make its Indian debut at the Lakme Fashion Week.

Another designer known for her innovative ideas with wearable technology Lina Wassong would also participate, She is known for digitalizing the environment and human body. 3lectromode a Montreal and, Canada-based designer, founded by Valérie Lamontagne. 3lectromode is a wearable electronics atelier dedicated to futuristic crafting and consulting in fashionable technologies. The label is known for developing techno-fashion garments and promising solutions for interactive designs.
Please note that the ace celebrity designer Manish Malhotra to open the show as its opportunity to celebrate his 25 incredible years in fashion Industry while Rohit Bal will finish at the grand finale which is going to happen on 3rd April.
This season about 90 designers will participate in the show, also along with 11 debutante models.
