Pantone introduced Ultra Violet as the color of the year 2018, the composition is all about blue and red to form the bluish purple hue for the season. Last year the Panton's color of the year 2017 "greenery" failed to create the buzz in the fashion world as that was too basic and was always part of the season. Since than Pantone learned from the mistake and came up with the carefully analyzed color for 2018.
The color could be equally used for men's and women's fashion as well as applicable to luxury fashion, footwear and accessories. This is natural as well as very neutral, luxurious, and dazzling.
