We are pleased to share with you yet another exciting collaboration at the upcoming Lakme Fashion Week.

Known for their play with fabrics and structures, Antar-Agni by Ujjawal Dubey in association with Raymond are showcasing a capsule collection to take a step towards the Sustainable Development of Northeast India. The line aims to strengthen the livelihoods of artisans by providing them with development support and market linkages.

Artisans based out of Assam have used weaving techniques to work with fibers such as cotton, Eri, Tussar and Muga silk to create this collection. Each garment has been created using a blend of traditionalism and contemporary silhouettes with extensive use of the classic motifs on several pieces and zari work on silk textile.

Designer's thoughts -

B A L A N C E is the essence of growth, it's an intersection of formal and fun, of contemporary and Indian.

Each fabric has a story to tell and working on the fine silks of Assam has reignited our love for beautiful textiles. We have incorporated color with a subtle mix of neutrals like ivory and greys along with a pop of greens and citrine.
