Gucci fall 2017 collection - Milan

Table of contents

Milan's seven day's fall 2017 runway show gala kicked off on Wednesday. It was a very mesmerizing event of Gucci to watch as the detailing demonstrated by the creative director Alessandro Michele was very intricate even though many styles are the repetition of the previous season. The designer decided to pay particular attention over the embroidery detailings.

According to Alessandro Michele

“I was thinking about an alchemist’s garden, I was concentrated on color and prints, and looking at many books of flowers and animals”,

For the fall 2017 show, we have seen lots of Jacquard, sequins, tulle, silk, and velvet along with the hardware detailings on the belts, shoes and wooden cane. We have also spotted the Hijab shape inspired woolen scarf with the floral neck patch

The clothes showcased were not about newness or exaggeration of silhouette or other such elements that can be telegraphed at a distance. For all their visual overstatement, the glory was in the details, the craft, the countless subtle creative ideas, and choices.

Many of them experimental, that went into making this dress with a bee embroidery different and distinctive from last season’s dress with a bee embroidery.

The ornamentation was as simple as a wide, shirred green velvet ribbon across the hips of a floral dress or a burst of floral embroidery on a mannish coat and as exquisitely dizzying as you can imagine. Bracelets featuring enamel faces and wooden canes, the eclectic accessories of the Gucci Fall Winter 2017 collection.

Overall the collection has everything for everyone, with lots of flowers, checks, and the animal skin prints. The collection had the attraction for modern and classic consumers. For young consumers, we spotted the denim shorts with fringed detailing.
