Inditex the world's biggest fast fashion retailer published its FY 2015 sales data. Zara is the brand which is under Inditex umbrella shown great growth during 2015 FY. According to the report which is published on today shows nditex Group's net sales increased by 15.4% in FY15 (1 February 2015 - 31 January 2016) to €20.90 billion, underpinned by growth in all of the Group's geographic regions. Sales growth in local currencies reached 15%. Net profit was €2.88 billion, up 15% from FY14. Meanwhile EBITDA registered growth of 15% to €4.70 billion. Like-for-like sales growth was 8.5%, on top of 5% growth in FY14, with positive growth in all geographies and across all the formats.
Inditex group chairman Pablo Isla reacted "these figures demonstrate the Group's potential, boosted by the quality and the commitment of all of its employees".
Inditex is having worldwide 7013 stores located globally in 88 market with 152,854 employee strength. The Group increased its store presence in all its geographies. Europe was home to 148 net new stores, Asia and rest of world to a net 114 and the Americas to a net 68.
